The Oidn denoiser in Reactor is a pretty good denoiser for 3D renders. It won't work on regular camera footage, because it uses a machine learning model (I think a generative adversarial neural network) trained with noisy vs clean Physically Based Renders. Since BMD appear to have their own AI R&D, it'd be cool if they trained their own model, and included it with the rest of the neural engine stuff. They could certainly noise print their own cameras, and offer sensor-specific ML based noise reductions, as well as a more generalized version that included training data from other camera manufacturers.
