"Ease and Wizz" like function in Fusion

PostMon Mar 01, 2021 6:24 pm

I come from After effects, and for those who dont know, there's a script that allows you to change the keyframe easing type easily (like expo, sine, quad, etc etc) called Ease and Wizz

Anyway, I found this custom node "JustTimingCurves" in Bill Justice's website, awesome tuts, recommended

This custom node has those easing modes, but there's a quite complicated expression system to link transforms to the node, I was wondering if anyone knows a way to apply the easing mode to my own animation (like the ease and wizz) or maybe a more from-the-ground-up tutorial, I have no programming background

I'm not sure I understood what you're trying to accomplish, but by default you can select the keyframes in the Spline window and press Shift+S to smooth smooth them out, or Shift+L to make them linear again.

Yes, I know those commands.

Those functions I mentioned are something to that effect, but more complex.
(You can achieve the effects with curves and patience i guess)

Well, that node from Bill Justice (JustTimingCurves) has those functions, but I find them way harder to apply, I was asking for a simpler method.

There are some choices under the Ease menu if you right-click in the Spline Editor.

Hello

That's the Anim Curves modifier in 17?

When using keyframes select modify with Anim Curves and all the easing functions are there.

Could there be some math like sine tied to a custom tool?
