Different elements on different frames

PostTue Apr 06, 2021 10:36 pm

I simply have a video (that's trimmed down) and a lightning VFX asset merged over the background video. The problem I'm running into, is that the video is trimmed down to where it starts at frame number 1358. Whereas the lightning VFX asset starts at frame 1. So when the VFX asset is merged over the backplate, the VFX asset isn't displayed over the backplate because technically, the VFX asset happened like 1000 frames back. How do I fix this and make the VFX asset happen the same time as the footage?

If the Lightning Asset is coming in as a Loader then you can "Hold First Frame" till 1357 or 1358. Otherwise you can add a TimeSpeed node and set the delay to 1357 after the Lightning Asset.
