How to lock the marker

PostThu Jun 17, 2021 1:36 am

Hi,

I want to lock markers in spline view and keyframes view. Difficult to control when keyframe and maker overlap. This is because maker has a higher priority than keyframe. The maker often moves unintentionally.

How to do it?

I also don't like that the vertical lines of the marker are not always visible.

Right-click in the panel and choose Options > Enable Marker Grab to disable it. You'll still be able to move markers by grabbing the flag at the top of the pane, but you'll no longer be able to grab the vertical line indicator.

edit: You have to do this separately for the Keyframes and Spline views.

That's it! And I found it on page 249 of the v17 manual. I was right-clicking only in the horizontal time axis.
As for markers, there are three different right-click menus.

Thank you!!
