Dynamic Elements / if statements in fusion?

PostMon Sep 20, 2021 6:05 pm

Hi all,

I am trying to build a dynamic table of contents for video tutorials inside fusion.

  • Intro
  • Part 1
  • [...]
  • Outro

The total amount of bullet points varies per video. While I can go ahead and create 20 or so animation instances as a template and throw away the instances I don't need for the actual video, I was hoping that there is a more elegant way of doing this.

So far I had two ideas in mind, but could not find any information for either of them:

1. Dynamically add instances to an existing template
2. Automatically remove instances that are empty (e.g. have an empty textbox)

Is either of these possible in some way? Is there a different approach that I failed to see?
