Fusion 17 Tracker extremely slow - speed up tracking

PostTue Nov 02, 2021 7:34 am

Hallo, i am new here and I simply want to stabilize scanned film by the perforation holes. I have a 4K resolution and use 1 Tracker in Fusion Studio 17... and it takes 3 to 4 seconds per frame to track... if I use two trackers, it goes to 9 or 10 seconds... is there any way to speed that up ? I use uncompressed RGB AVIs in 3600 x 2500 pixels resolution and have a AMD Ryzen 5959X with a RTX 3080 and 32 GB RAM. The AVI is on an SSD via USB 3.0. Many thanks!

Try to use file sequence instead of avi container. Convert 50 frames (not a whole sequence) to *.tga or *.jpg just for a speed test. If it works - you know what to do next.
