Fusion: Animated text opacity is rendering as black

PostThu Nov 04, 2021 9:39 pm

Running 17.4.1 on an M1 Max.

When building a simple lower-third in Fusion, my text renders as black when the opacity is animating from 0-100%.

As you can see in the attachment, the Fusion preview renders correctly and the preview in the timeline does not. If I render in place as a PR4444 with alpha, it renders black.

The only place I'm animating opacity is in the two text nodes, under Shading>Opacity.

Sometimes my final render behaves appropriately, sometimes it renders with the black when opacity is below 100%. I can't this to be consistent.

Is this a bug, or am I missing a setting somewhere?
