So, I'm not sure the best way to green screen my subjects, but what I've been doing has been really quick and worked very well UNTIL Resolve 17.4.1 came out.

Here's what I've been doing:
I've been using a 3D Keyer (Edit page) to key the green screen out. Since we have a very small studio, the lights for the green screen are on the edges of the shot. I use a Polygon Mask (Fusion page) to simply mask them out. The overall result is my subject standing against a new background. Simple as that.

HOWEVER, in the latest version of DaVinci Resolve (17.4.1), this exact process yields an area in which my subject is standing against the new background, but the background is somehow also being masked by the Polygon Mask applied ONLY to the subjects video clip. So, the overall result is black edges (where Polygon Mask is masking out the lights), then the new back ground with the subject on top.

I've had to go back to a previous version of DaVinci (17.3.1) to get my old process to work.

Any tips for fixing this issue, or perhaps, helping me find a better way to green screen multiple clips?
