How do you set individual particle velocity?

I'm trying to create velocity for every individual particle that falls off over its lifetime. I tried looking for something similar to "Size Over Life" under "Size Controls" in the Style tab within the node pEmitter. Would I have to create my own function, perhaps a script using LUA to control each individual particle's speed?

For example, if it isn't clear:
Let's say that I have particles p1 and p2. Particle p1 starts at frame 0 and will start at 100% velocity and should reach 0% velocity 10 frames later. Particle p2 starts at frame 5 and will also start at 100% and slowly reach 0% velocity 10 frames later. Is it possible to do this within Davinci Resolve Fusion?

pCustom will let you do that. v.x * 0.9 to lower it by 10 percent pr frame. Or use pFriction for the same effect.

I also encountered pCustomForce after posting this, so I'm playing with that also.

I forgot to add if it is possible to increase a particle from 0% velocity to 50% velocity from frame X to Y and then once it reaches a lifespan age it will gradually go down from 50% velocity to 0% velocity from frame Y to Z. Is this possible?
