Script

PostMon Jan 17, 2022 1:31 pm

Hi, could you please tell me how to add through a console or using a script, for example Slider with my given settings and the name? I want to add Controls to the node.

Windows 10 x64 Pro (Last Update), NVIDIA Driver Studio (Last Update), DaVinci Resolve FREE (Last Update).

Depending on what kind of controls you want, you don't need a script.
Just right-click on the title bar of your tool and select 'edit controls'
This will allow you to add as many controls to your node as you want.
If you want to go into more advanced options later, you can edit these controls in a text editor like Notepad ++

More detailed info on that can be found on WSL - the dedicated Fusion forum over at www.steakunderwater.com

Thank you. Yes, I know about the standard method. It's just that I very often add the same parameter with the given settings and the above method is too long.

I didn't know you knew this already. In that case definitely go the Notepad route. You can just copy/paste the added controls and change the parameters you want to change and then it's a relatively quick operation. (if you know what you're doing)

Yes I know, but I don't like this way because I do a lot of effects and it's very stressful.
