Fusion Planar Tracker is Interrupted by Shadow ...

I am struggling working with Fusion's Planar Tracker. I created a Fusion clip and I am trying to use the Planar Tracker to add text to the side of a moving truck in my video. The tracker works until a shadow bisects the tracker, then it fails and the tracker box and text disappear (see screenshots below).

I was hoping I could append further tracking after the shadow passes, but cannot figure out how to do that. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to work around this shadow problem, if it is possible.

Thanks,
Chris

I only use Mocha for stuff like this but can you add a matte to your planar tracker, using a roto of the shadow to have the planar tracker ignore?

Jeff's suggestion should work. You can also select a larger portion of the truck to track so it won't be as influenced by the relatively small shadow.
