Fusion Render Node service

I have installed Fusion and Fusion Rendernode on same pc. Only the Fusion node is running as a service, which appeasr in task bar at startup.
If I take dongle anto another machine that render node no longer gives me to access Render Manager, as I need to run Fusion to run render manager.
The last time I did this in Fusion 9 I was able to run RenderNode automatic service on a PC without need for dongle or Fusion running, that includes access render manager and network prefs.
If I run renderNode.exe, icon appears in task bar, so theres 2 render nodes in task bar, if I exit node that ran at startup, am left with the rendernode.exe that I just ran (1 node in task bar). Both nodes dont allow their preferences give me ability to input IP addfress for master.
Has this whole process changed. Am I missing something here.
