Possible to only show selected node gizmo in 3D view?

PostWed May 25, 2022 8:20 am

Hi folks,

Imagine this:

I have several objects and lights in a 3D scene and they're all pretty close together.

I'm viewing my scene in 3D perspective view.

Because Fusion seems to want to show all transform (or rotate in rotate view) gizmos all of the time, this becomes a bit of a visual mess, and makes it hard to grab the gizmo you actually want.

My question is: is there any way to tell Fusion to hide of the gizmos, apart from the selected node(s)?

And if not, is there some other workaround to stop you adjusting the wrong gizmo?

Thanks!

Im not infront of the machine, but there is a right click command probably when you first click on the node view to only show selected object. This hides all the lights and cameras in the view, and only shows the item you have selected in the tree.

Yep, actually I've been bothered by that from time to time too, and never did anything to fix these overcrowded merge3d view when needed either :D
So, I took advantage of this thread to do it for myself too, and thus tell you that it's :

right click on the view > Controls > "Active Tool Only"
