[18b4] Tracker issue

PostTue Jun 14, 2022 2:24 pm

According to the v18 manual, Tracker in the Tracker list has three modes (Enabled, Suspended, Disable).
However, clicking does not change the mode. It always remains "Enable".

These commands work fine. This is UI issue.
Code: Select all
Tracker1.Enabled1=1
Tracker1.Enabled1=2
Tracker1.Enabled1=3

In v17 "Suspended" was disabled, why doesn't BMD fix it?

Thanks for the commands, they work fine in the console, I did not know this trick.
Yes, it's very frustrating that BM doesn't fix bugs as annoying as this, and so obvious!

The loss of the suspended state in the trackers surfaced in fu17 - see this thread:

https://www.steakunderwater.com/wesuckl ... php?t=5147

The hack kindly offered by @the bloke when added into @secondman's TrackerPlus macro restores the ability to chose "suspended" using clicks but it's a little more fiddly.

BM have not responded in any way to my request at the end of the first post -

"BM - can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE turn it on again and make the white ball status selectable? It was there for a very good reason and hiding it marks yet another small step backwards in degrading a fast usable UI into one that it is near impossible to work with . . . it's bad enough that the 2D tracker hasn't had any development for over a decade, but now it's actively getting worse!"

Yes, I was useing @the bloke tips. But It is even worse in v18.
Adding new buttons would solve the problem, but ... :?

I hope so too. But we already know how BM is, Resolve is getting full of little bugs but that doesn't seem to matter much.
