Fusion templates don't work twice

Hi there !

So I learned how to create an animation. I learned how to create a template out of it. I can now use the template... BUT no.

When I'm creating the template, it works just fine in the project where it was made but as soon as I'm trying to use it in a new project the screen just turns black. There is no Offline media problem, it's just all black. This is happening 90% of the time. 90% because I think that I was able to use some in other projects directly from my effect library, but most of the time I have to go back to the original project and copy-paste the fusion comp instead.

Is this an issue with the free version or am I missing something?

If you could show some screenshots of the templates you made when they aren't working it might help find out what is going wrong.

I would need to take a look but I am thinking you have more than 1 MainOutput.

Open the .setting in a text editor and search MainOutput1 this should be your last node in your comp.

I am guessing you either have more than 1 or you included the MediaOut in the macro.

Just guessing though without seeing it.

sorry for the delay, the day after I posted my question I was able to use my templates and to be sure I started saving the fusion comp instead of making new macros. The sad thing is, I'm not able to use them once again, but I either copy-paste them from a previous project or use the saved fusion comp.

That being said, I'll be happy to find a more efficient fix!

So xunile as for screenshot, do you mean of the nodes?

And John Holt, I'm always careful not to select the MediaOut node and when I look in the .setting files, here is the only mention of "MainOutput1 ":
