Scaling down in Fusion and up in Edit w/o loosing quality?

PostSun Sep 25, 2022 2:04 am

Hey Experts,

I want to add a facecam behind a frame but occasionally zoom into the whole thing so the frame is cut off and only the cam shown.

In a compound clip I put facecam and frame together. I added a very smooth dropshadow onto the compound clip and used a transform to scale down, so that the dropshadow won't be cut off at the borders.

Now only 75% of the image is the facecam. Guess I am loosing quality if I am then zooming in to 100% facecam in the Edit tab. Is my assumption correct? And how can I surpass this?

Thank you!
