Weird tracker node behaviour (need help)

PostWed Nov 30, 2022 9:57 am

Hi,

I recently made the switch to Resolve and love it so far. But this is one of those problems that I just can't seem to figure out. It's driving me crazy so hopefully people here have an answer!

Yesterday my tracker worked fine. I could move it around, no problem. Today I sit down to continue on my project and this happens (see images). Everytime I try to move the tracker I get a checkered screen like there is no video behind. The enlarged tracker window is black and for some reason it only shows the bottom left of the video.

I restarted Resolve, I updated to 18.1.1, I tried new projects with different resolutions. Same behaviour. Am I missing something obvious? The internet doesn't help me, I can't find any similar problems.

EDIT: Also tried backrolling NVIDIA drivers, still nothing.

Is this during tracking or when you're moving the source thingee around?

Both actually. During active tracking I also can't see. But it does seem to be tracking. It's just that I can't monitor / place anything with accuracy.

Does it make a difference if you view the Tracker itself rather than the MediaOut? I've seen this happen from time to time, but I don't know what causes it
