Help with Proto please

PostWed Dec 21, 2022 8:58 pm

I'm new to Resolve, and use the free version. I do it for personal use, I'm not a company, but I do want to have fun with Proto effects. I installed the plugin, and it seems to be fine, so I used it in the Edit tab, and it worked fine. However, when I use it in Fusion, it doesn't do anything, in the timeline or the final render. I'm using Windows 11 in case you need to know.

So you're able to use it in Fusion but it just stays locked on 1 frame or...?

I have no idea. I'm not good with Fusion, I may be just missing something, but I followed a tutorial. If I use the alread made presets that you can find in edit mode, they work, but again, in fusion, plugging an input (which looks fine) into the Proto node doesn't do anything. I put the ProtoV2 node into the viewer, and it was just a blank transparent clip.
