This has been a problem for some time, and occasionally I can fix it by rebooting, but lately I cannot. According to event viewer, the faulting module is fusionscript.dll. I thought maybe that dll was triggering my virus software (malware bytes & windows defender), but after turning both off, it still would not run.

I have about 37 shots to get through by Sunday, and I would really appreciate some help here. Thank you in advance. Below are the stats:

Fusion studio 18.1.3
Resolve studio 18.1.3

Windows 10
Nvidia 3080ti
i7 8-core, 128GB Ram

Hi there,
we have the same problem win 10 resolve 18.1.3 and tried three different win 10 PCs. It is freezing on the intro screen. It is impossible to work for us at the moment. Help is highly appreciated.

Make sure FusionScript.exe and FusionServer.exe are in the allow list of Firewalls, and antivirus applications,

these cannot be blocked.

I tried this, as well as adding the Fusion18 folder to the exclusion list of Windows Defender as well as Malwarebytes. I've also turned both off, and Fusion studio still doesn't start up.

10:50pm on a Sunday night, and I'm having to uninstall and re-install Fusion 18.1.3 again in order to get work done for tomorrow morning.

- I have turned off all virus and firewall software, both MS and Malwerebytes.
- I have added fuscript.exe, fusion.exe and fusionserver.exe to the exclusion list for both virus and firewall

I get 'initializing....' when starting up Fusion, and if it's on for more than a hot second, I know I'm fubar. It hangs, then the splash screen goes away. Looking at the event viewer, I have the following:

btw, if it's any help, here's the log file from running in verbose mode.

SOVLED! With 18.5 beta, I don't have this issue anymore.
