Adjusting node opacity

PostSun Mar 12, 2023 5:31 pm

What is the best way to adjust the opacity of a node which holds an image? I have tried using a merge node and the 'blend' adjuster but thats a bit buggy, just suddenly stops working...

any suggestions?

How can you tell that the node has a lower opacity? What is the purpose of your request?

If you add a b/c tool and check the alpha, lowering the gain slider will lower the opacity of your image.
But you can only see this if you put it on top of something else, which you'd usually do in a merge node, by adjusting the blend slider. If that doesn't work or is buggy, then something else is wrong because that's about the most basic operation inside of Fusion. Can you show/share your workflow/node setup with us?

Well this is exactly the solution I proposed. I should have put in on youtube, since it has 17K views.
