Resolution change for optimus workflow?

Hi, In Davinci resolve, my project setting are in 1920x1080p, but my media footage is 3840x2160p.... when using the Edit Page is perfect, but when i enter in the Fusion Page, the vram rises much... I know is for FLOAT POINT, but

Is there a way to use the timeline resolution (1920x1080) and not the original file resolution (3840x2160) to gain performance?

PostData: a way that does not involve generating proxies and optimized media.

I usually just put a scale node set to 0.5 right after your MediaIn node. It works as a proxy node, but it looks way better. There's also a setting somewhere in Resolve that allows you to switch between Fusion using your native resolution and timeline resolution, but I always keep forgetting how to set it.

Yep
In the same vein, I put a letterbox node, or depending where I am (studio etc) a resize one...

They should make an update to the resize or scale node that merge the two. The resize node needs a "keep ratio" check box and the scale node needs a... resize node? I use both depending on what it's going into. Media In nodes usually get a scale node for half res but I uniformly make 1080p Resized if I'm generating vectors or using magic mask. Then reverse the Rescale at the end of the flow branch.
