No "Anchor Point" for Fusion "Transform" node?

PostFri Feb 09, 2024 4:25 am

I'm learning to use Fusion tab in DaVinci Resolve and have a question regarding using a Transform node to zoom into a clip.

This works fine but I run into a problem after I use the Spline editor to smooth out the zoom by changing the zoom from a straight line into a curve. This creates a "bounce" in the zoom. I've seen this before when using an Adjustment Clip in the Edit tab. In that case you can use the Anchor Point instead of Position attributes. This is explained by Dunna Did It in a YT vid named "GRAB THEIR ATTENTION By Using This Easy Smooth Zoom Effect! (Davinci Resolve Tutorial)." Edit: I tried to include a link but it seems I'm not allowed.

After adding an ease in/out via the Spline editor and seeing the bounce in the zoom, I figured I need to adjust the Anchor Points in the Transform node but... I don't see these attributes here.

What am I missing? How do I solve this?

Thank you in advance from this noob who is genuinely trying to learn and do his homework before adsking questions.

You are probably using the wrong Transform node, the one from the Edit page OpenFX. Make usre that the node has XF in the name.
