Simple but can't find a simple answer..

PostSun Feb 11, 2024 12:32 pm

Hi,

Sorry if I'm wasting you guys time but, I'm just wondering how to add a texture to the custom shape in my screenshot.

Can find lots of tutorials on 3d stuff but just a texture to a basic shape.....struggling.

Any help will be so greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Simple way:

Drag image with texture from Media Pool into Composition.
Connect your polygon shape to mask input (blue arrow).

If you need more control use a Transform node and connect the
shape to the Merge node mask input:

With the Transform node you can adjust position, scale and rotation of the texture.
