Hold First Frame Hidden Default

I've ran into a glitch that I cant seem to shake. Any time I open a video clip, or even an adjustment clip, the video becomes still- I stumbled on the reason being that the MediaIn has a default "Hold First Frame" value of "7515". Which is particularly odd because the only way that I see to even access that drag a new clip from the pool into the media MI (simply switching from the dialog box doesn't bring up the option), reset the value to 0, then switch back to timeline source.

I've tried right clicking on the value to "set to default" but it doesn't seem to hold...

Please send help before I pull what little hair I have left out.
