Text timer and correcting CCTV time

PostThu May 23, 2024 12:39 am

I am making a compilation of CCTV footage for a law enforcement purpose. As you can imagine, everyone's sustem clocks are setup differently and I have over 60 clips from different sources, all which I've corrected down to the second.

I want to overlay the correct time onto the footage, so I've tried using a text+ node in fusion with a texttimer modifier but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to work.

Any help please for a novice?

You need the Timecode modifier.
The Texttimer is a remnant from tradeshows so they could have a countdown on screen to indicate when the next demo presentation was.
