Is it possible to use camera tracker on a longer clip?

PostThu May 23, 2024 2:41 am

Hi all,

Trying to get my noodle around this one and hoping you can help.

I have a drone shot that I want to use a 3d camera tracker on, to place in some 3d elements, and then run it through a timestretcher node to do a speed ramp to fit in with a short clip.

The entire length of the drone clip that I want to work on is 893 frames, and the total length of the comp is 255 frames.

I can't work out how to get the 3d camera tracker to look at the longer clip while inside the smaller comp. Am I missing something obvious here, or do I need to make a longer comp to accommodate it, and then just trim it on the edit page?

I'm doing it in Resolve studio fusion page, but can use standalone.

Thanks
