Special Titles

PostFri May 24, 2024 1:20 pm

I'm new to Resolve. Just started checking out a tutorial recently. I've been using a competitor - PowerDirector - for over 15 years, so I'm not entirely lost. But I have been hunting around for two unique titles that have effects & audio. One is a typewriter style. Letters would appear on-screen as if being typed in, accompanied by keystroke sounds for each letter and carriage return when a line is changed. The other is like it: teletype. This one would have the more rapid typing of letters with the teletype sounds, including carriage return and idle when all text is finished being displayed. Does anyone know where I might acquire something like that?

Does PowerDirector come with these? If that's the case I would just use an export of the sound from that and do the new animations in Resolve/Fusion. I don't think there are any combipacks sold with sound and titles. But typewriter sounds can be found almost everywhere. You can even record them with your phone while typing and use that.
