last version was $2400 (combined with Dimension) as I remember.. and $800 was Generation.

There are a few of us.
People overlook how incredibly good it is for really controlling the specific parameters that you want to, and really, it has been 4K since the beginning. Some of its nodes (the ones that Apple cannibalized for its "behaviour" modes in point-and-click applications) are still the best in the business.
