where is VFXPedia?

Hey guys,
First off well done with the takeover and relauching of fusion. I have been involved with fusion since version 1. This is the biggest thing since it was purchased the last time and when it rewrote the code for openGL in my opinion.

The only thing is, there was a great community and eyeon had the VFXPedia site that had fuses and various other items that are very useful, Users posted all kinds of material and learning material that it would be a crying shame if that was to vanish.

I am assuming this is in the works to be revamped and presented to us again in a better more accessable way?

Please if you can, let us know what it up with this wiki page of material.

If this is a second post sorry! I just did not see it posted last time, so I am writing again. IF this is a repeat please ignore. Perhaps they are screening post.

Just wanted to know where the VFXPedia site is now? Will they make a new and better site? There was tones of great fuses, scripts and sample comps not to mentions tools etc. Would be a shame if it is lost forever.

Can anyone from BMD comment on this?

Another plea for VFXpedia's return. As inadequate as it often was, especially for the most advanced/technical stuff, it was still far better than nothing. I'm currently trying to learn how to make Fuses, and a lot of the child pages in the Fuses section are not in the web archive backup. It's getting really frustrating hitting dead-ends repeatedly, especially when it was completely unnecessary even bringing it down in the first place.

That's what I've been using. As I said...

a lot of the child pages in the Fuses section are not in the web archive backup.

I can't post the actual URL, (or apparently anything that even resembles a URL is getting kicked back, too), but a lot of the links throughout the Fuse sections are not in the archive.

we lost a lot of knowledge with shutting down VFXPedia, it was one of the first places to go to when you have a problem to figure out by yourself. I cannot use fusion as before without the ability to go to vfxpedia and check how it's done. I think the Blackmagic forum cannot do that in the same way. its not structured enough as a wiki. please bring back vfxpedia! i feel lost without it.

the documentation on vfxpedia wasnt complete, especialy for scripting api and fuses. i think the archive.org has everything that was there.
you should take a look at stefan ihringers fuses, he has good comments on his fuses and some very advanced stuff in there.

The URL in my signature has links to all my fuses. I think some might have been hosted on vfxpedia though (at least the manual always was).

The content has been revised and updated, besides they got much better formatting, thanks to HTML

I'll keep updating the list with more articles and macros in this, better readable style.
