I was trying to run free version of fusion on my Win 7 i7 + SSD desktop but it crashes when loading - aroung 3-4 seconds after splash screen has been shown. As a software developer I used SysInternals Process Monitor to quickly see any obvious problems but I could not find any. Possibly other users have the similar problem so I guess it would be good for a BlackMagic Design guru to look at it.

I'm experiencing the same problem.
For what it's worth, these are the specs of my computer:

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K @ 3.50GHz
RAM: 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P8Z77-V PRO (LGA1155)
Graphics: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti (MSI)
Hard Drives: SSD 168GB Volume0 (RAID)
