Bug: division by zero considered harmful

PostThu Jan 15, 2015 6:01 pm

Sorry for spamming the forum with 3 bug reports in a row, but with the crash reporter gone (why?!) this will have to do.

Since Fusion 7 (maybe related to the new LUA interpreter?) Fusion's expressions are no longer forgiving when it comes to divisions by zero. You can test this by adding an expression to, say, the offset input of a BrightnessContrast that just reads "1 / Lift".

As soon as you press enter, Fusion will simply disappear. Fusion 6.4 used to be forgiving and I think that was a good thing. With longer expressions, it quickly gets complicated to wrap everything into iif() statements.
