Though unable to attend, this news is exciting! I can finally use something other than Photoshop to process still images. Jumping up and down, singing oh yeah!

Great news, Steve. Any timings/thoughts on the Linux version yet?

Steve,
Thanks for the update. Very excited by the news! Curious as to the interaction between Fusion and Resolve. Will find out soon enough.

I would love to know what the new button between the RGB channels and lut is. let the rampant speculation begin

That's super great news for the many Mac users out there. However, as a PC user I was hoping we would see some improvements to the existing version of Fusion. Any changes on the horizon for us to see?

I can see a 3D-Cube in the Viewer panel. Visualize 3D Attributes? Arbitrary 3D attributes? Or simply rendering mode switches (shaded, wireframe ...). I have no clue.
And there is a tab for the current open Comp, but I guess that is the replacement for the MDI.
Who found more Easter-eggs?

3D-Cube, eh? Well that's an interesting interpretation...
I'll leave a little hint... "PT_*.bmp"

"PT_*.bmp?"
I am afraid I'm not smart enough to know what that means.

in the fusion skin folder are several bmp files, one of them is the one you see now in the video. its not a cube but 3 planes behind each other. its called pt_multilayer.bmp
so, this is a replaced icon for the channels in the viewer

The channels flyout is still there, so I'd say it is multilayer as in another dimension.

Looks like pretty small improvements overall. I guess everyone is busy porting Fusion to Mac. :/ We'll know for sure next week!

Let's hope there's only Fusion Studio for OSX. Let the OSX users put their money where their mouth is.

I have no problems with porting Fusion to Mac, or Mac users. I was just hoping the port was being done in parallel with making improvements to the software.

I suspect there will be. But it's the OSX version that will dramatically improve the quality of posts to this forum, so that's what got shared.

Us Mac users got smiley icons with variable skin tones now. I expect Fusion to support this or I won't buy.

To my knowledge, we will not be doing any streaming but all the information available will be posted to the website shortly after the start of the show.
