[SOLVED] CameraProjected mesh(withUV) -> render to texture?

PostSun May 03, 2015 12:27 pm

Hi, I don't know if this is possible?
What I want is to render out a texture from a mesh(with UV) that got CameraProject.
Any idea how can I do that?

Thank you

Oh, I got to a step where you feed image to the camera ---> turn on camera project/project mode to "texture" ---> use catcher tool and feed to the mesh

Thank a lot. Toulouse LeTrak
[Renderer3d][Renderer Type][OpenGL UV Renderer] do the trick

But this doesn't still produce unwrapped UV render like Nuke does. I would love that to work like this, because I can then use camera track / projection as a stabilizing method for paint/cleanup etc.

That is exactly what I try to do

I have a camera track with proxy geo.
Do the camera project like I said earlier.
Use the catcher tool to feed to the geo(with UV)
Use merge 3d to merge camera and the geo
Then use renderer3d, set up the render image to square(ex 1024x1024)
Done

It's supposed to. There's a bug that prevents it from working that way currently though, if I understand you correctly.
