[Bug!] Publish Polyline Point

PostTue May 05, 2015 6:22 am

Hi,

I make BG and add PolylineMask. Then I publish a point in the PolylineMask, and make its point animation or connect other Path. It works fine on view.(But its BG doesn't RAMCahe)

But whitle final rendering, it doesn't work correctly. I try on Fu6.4. It works Fine!!
I think it is Fu7's Bug.

You don't want to release the maintenance version to Fu8? I am in trouble in my current job. Fu7's PolyMask is very unstable.

Yes...I reported a bug like that a couple of months ago, and provided them a comp. I thought it would have been fixed in the latest release. Rony should be able to confirm that they have it logged.

I ended up having to pre-render in 6.4, and import the mask. bummer..I know. :(

Ah, just as I thought. I use 6.4 for this too. Thank you.

I can't still pull out eyeon's usb dongle. I hate ver7. Bugs, many Hung-up, Less support, Less update...

Let's be fair, Inoue-san. Eyeon was the grand master of "Less update". BMD is doing much better so far for updates.

I agree that it is too soon to give up Fusion 6.4 .

Hi Stu,

Yes, I know of course. But I don't think so. Because when eyeon released v5.0 or v6.0, they updated more during first 6 months. Fu7 is already 7.7.1, but I think this is almost v7.0.7.1. Fu7 is ignored by the acquisitions and OS X?

And I was Beta Tester for Fu6. So I might get more minor release.

The update rate doesn't matter. The quality of the software does. Having releases every 3 hours that aren't even unit tested doesn't help. If the quality of software is high, longevity is high, so release rate doesn't matter.

Of course if bugs are reported and fixed a hotfix, as an optional patch, would be nice.

Yes, of course. But "quality" is ...

Just saying asking for faster releases isn't helping if the quality suffers as a result.
