Can't Render my project in Fusion 7.7

This is really bizarre because I was able to render the original comp.

I then saved the original AS another name, removed some of the stuff I didn't need and made the changes to the new .comp

For some reason... it just won't render. Sometimes it just plain old won't do anything and give me an error, or it will say it completed rendering, but there's no file :(

This is all that shows up in the Console:

Render started at Wed 12:19PM (Range: 0 to 264)
ERROR: Render failed at Wed 12:19PM! Last frame rendered: (none)!


When it succeeds, I get this:
Render started at Wed 12:27PM (Range: 0 to 264)
Render completed successfully at Wed 12:27PM - Total Time: 0h 0m 15.23s, Average: 17.33 frames/second

But in either case, I don't get a file in the OS, which is supposed to go to: E:\Amnesia\AFX Renders\Dante Quote.mov

I even tried other locations... nothing.

What can I do?

Without looking at the comp,
this seems as if the output-file (which apparently is a QuickTime) seems to be locked.
It could be either locked because it's opened in Quicktime player, or because it's still 'locked' inside Fusion itself, because it sits in a loader or the like.

When you restart Fusion, does the issue go away?
If not what happens if you change the name of the output file?

Unfortunately, restarting Fusion doesn't do anything different. :( Tried that several times.

Changing the filename or folder didn't help either :(

Also, tried deleting the Saver node and adding a new one... same thing. No file gets output.

the comp you attached to the original post has only 3 nodes (txt+, BGfromImage fuse and a merge), not much to see there.

Here is the complete .comp with textures attached.

It's not much... Just a quote from Dante's inferno with a shading animation.

Looking at your original comp, the BGFromImage fails because it has no (BG) input.
Hence, all subsequent tools (includig a Saver) will fail as well.
Maybe a plain BG (replacing the BGFromImage) might help...:-)

Well, whatever was wrong, I started the project from scratch and it is working fine now... weird!

In my final project I just used a Loader to bring in the background texture which I used in the Text+ Shading tab.
