Auto-save

How does auto-save work in fusion? It seams like it is only saving a file next to the comp and over writes this file on every new auto-save. It doesn't put any file in the directory I have specified for auto-saves. Can I make Fusion save auto-saves in a specific folder and write new files for every auto-save?

That path is only for autosaves of comps that have not be saved.

So there is no way to make fusion keep every auto-save file then?
