Hi Folks,

You'll find a list of changes in any Blackmagic release in the Release Notes which are available both on the web in the support section and in the software installers.

It's taken serious engineering effort from the whole team to get us to Fusion 8.0 beta 2 and that work is giving us a solid base to take the product forward in the future. We're looking forward to a slick, solid Fusion and Fusion Studio 8.0 in the not too distant future.

It's clear people are pretty passionate about change logs - we'll see how much detail we can incorporate in the future when development settles down a bit.

cheers

Hey Daniel,

Thanks for responding. I personally appreciate the new direction and feel that fusion is taking. In fact, I have personally used fusion since it was first released in Canada. It has been a long road for sure. The only thing is, people want to help as much as possible, and most feel that the information that is provided in the ReadMe.rtf, all be in some information, is not appropriate for a beta. If you just want us to play around and if we see something and report it, I guess that will do, but if you want us to be more organised and targeted without wasting time on both sides, we just need more information.

I for one, am very excited, and after working in this business for so many years, and being part of betas in the past and present, including eyeon. I would expect at minimum a change log that offers more information.

Please, don't take it the wrong way. Us long time users and the new excited ones are just wanting to see things move ahead. I think what you have done in the time you did it, is great. I for one appreciate all the effort. Keep it up.

Cheers
