fusion 7 studio purchase = free upgrade to 8?

Firstly I know my name isn't right according to the forum rules. Happy to change this if I knew how. This an admin needs to do this.
Question: If I purchase fusion 7 studio now, what will the deal be when 8 is officially released?
Would I have wasted money or will there be an upgrade fee? Perhaps a simple transfer of licence?
