UV render errors

PostFri Sep 25, 2015 7:00 pm

I am using the UV render to unwrap texture from a sphere and I get random intermittent distortion. Specifically the right side and top of frame stretch. Is this a bug?

You're going to have to give more information than that.

FYI, I think I've narrowed the issue down to GPU RAM. I think you need at least 4GB otherwise the UV render has problems.

Can't be that, i've done it with 2 gigs without issue.

Still need more info, a comp?

It could possibly be older GPU spec. It is an intermittent error. One of the systems that seems to have a render issue, the card is a GTX 460, OpenCL 1.1 with 768MB RAM.
