gridwarp broken in beta 2?

I remember from earlier versions of Fusion that you could draw a line and the gridwarp tool would generate a grid that included points on this line like a poor man's spline warp tool. But in Beta 2 (MacOS) I've just selected "Edit Line", drawn a spline... and if I remember correctly, I would have to switch back to "edit grid" for the grid to be remodeled. That doesn't work though.

Oh, and the grid warp should really have a "swap src and dst" button as well :-) Would make morphing setups easier...

Why do you need to swap the source and destination?
You can already copy from one to the other.
If you need to swap everything, just swap the inputs.

Swapping inputs? Are yo sure you're not thinking of Nuke's gridwarp?
Copy & paste works but if you've got keys on both splines it's messy.

I am pretty sure I wasn't thinking about Nuke, since I never think about Nuke.
But yes, I was mistaken. For some reason I'd forgotten that the src-dst only applies to the gridwarp itself not the inputs.

So what do you mean by this then?

Imagine you've animated both source and destination grids to morph an animated object A into another animated object B. You need to do the same thing (in reverse) to the B image so you can cross-dissolve. That would be easy if you could just swap inputs but Fusion's gridwarp only has one input. So you need to copy the tool and swap the splines.

But now that I'm thinking about it: having a foreground input on the gridwarp would be even better. Like the channel boolean, it would apply the warp to the background if there was no foreground.
