Detailed breakdowns of nodes in Fusion

I was having a conversation with some coworkers that it would be nice if hovering over a selected node in the Tools tab would have a little breakdown of what that node does. We also discussed having a little image with that node that helped explain even further.

I was going through old tutorials when I came across this in a fusion 5 tutorial:

Image

The nodes themselves had images for what the specific node did.

My question is:

Is there a way in later versions of fusion to display these images in the node graph?

I'm working off the assumption these images are still somewhere in the program, they have just been hidden in later versions.

They are. Right click on node. show>show tile picture
I hope that helps!

Also if you right click on the flow there is a check box for "Force All Tile Pictures" along with several other global tile picture options.

I was wondering were the option for a single node was! Thanks Joël Gibbs! Don't know how I missed it when looking before!

Does anyone know if there is a shortcut key for >show>show tile picture ? (in shake it was "T")

You can also set this in the preferences section. I wish that they could show a picture in the merge tool, unless I am missing something.

There is also selected mode, so the tile only shows up when you click the node.
