fusion studio beta, where is Generation?

so studio is out, but no generation?

Was wondering the same thing about Generation. Is it supposed to be included in the latest Studio Beta? Also is the Fusion Studio a free Beta or do you need to buy a licence?

You need an existing license of 7.x.

Without a demo/timed (say 3 months) beta, who knows if Mac users will feel comfortable shelling out the money for Studio. I figured the point was to get more paying customers on board with the OSX port, but by having them buy a Windows only product just to have access to the OSX version in the future seems confusing. I guess it's ok since they give Mac users the ability to buy Resolve cheaper?

Hopefully Fusion 8 Studio will be $499 in the Windows store?

You want first time users of a beta to have access to MORE features that aren't implemented or buggy? At least now the Studio beta has only paying, and therefore more experienced, users participating.

so near as I can tell in the full studio release, Generation didnt' make the cut for osX?

or am I missing something?

There was never a Generation OSX beta. Doesn't surprise me that it isn't in the release.
