Open CL Prefs

PostMon Dec 28, 2015 4:37 pm

In OSX Fusion Preferences, at Open CL tab auto device status is apple graphics card. (Fusion Studio 8 Beta 3)
While working in windows, it shows GeForce GT 650M. (Fusion Studio 7)

Is this normal?

Can you confirm that OpenCL drivers are functioning for that device under OSX? Apple has OpenCL drivers for it, but that doesn't guarantee that they are functioning.

It's a MacBook Pro with nvidia graphics, if I run Windows with bootcamp fusion sees nvidia card in OS X it sees apple hd graphics.

@Alaz:
Since you have Fusion Studio, you should be able to select the GPU manually.
Does it work if you select the GPU(GeForce GT 650M) from the dropdown?
(try ticking the "Verbose console messages" and see what's printed in "Console" tab after selecting the GPU manually to see whether there's any error message)
If there's an error msg printed, try updating the driver from nvidia website.
