Using Optical flow to repair missing frames

I've got some ftge that is 23.98fps and it looks as if it has been converted to this frame rate from something else and in the process lost a frame every 24 frames.
I've seen some tutorials somewhere about using optical flow and repair frame in the dimension tools, but I'm having issues getting anywhere with it. When I drop the optical flow tool after the ftge, the tool freezes along with Fusion and I have to exit Fusion.
Does anyone have any tips or point me in the right direction to learn how to use these tools?
