HI have this issue, do you know how to switch or turn off the intel card?

I think you need Studio to access that option.

I thought about that, but there should be a workaround to turn it off inside windows settings, not in the fusion it self, I believe it recognizes what comes first. So if to change the ID of the Nvidia card to be the first that should work. So does anybody know where to look for that?

If you're not using the CPU's built-in graphics you can turn it off in the BIOS, then as far as Fusion's concerned it doesn't exist. Other than that, you're stuck with it, as far as I can tell.

Unfortunately there is no such option in bios.

Hi, Eugene.

I did a little poking around and I think this might be a useful path. He was working on an Alienware 17 so I thought it might also be relevant to you. His fix is further down in the post, as well as another user who solved the same problem. Looks like updating the Nvidia drivers did the trick.

Here's the discussion and resolution of the issue on Tom's Hardware:

And here's a link to get the latest Nvidia drivers for your GTX890m:

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I 've also looked for this thread. But found no good, this particular link describes the problem with an amd video card, so this is already different workarounds. I've installed the latest Nvidia driver immediately but still had no luck.

Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

There was a guy at the bottom who was referencing an Nvidia card, which is why I thought it might be of interest to you. However, if you've updated the graphics drivers and found no joy, then the thread is of little value.

I do notice that you're running Windows 10. Since it's a relatively new OS, it's possible that it's a bug between Nvidia and Win 10.

I know I'm probably asking questions that are too obvious, but is the Nvidia showing up under Display Adapters in Device Manager (whatever the Windows 10 equivalent of that page is)? If it's not, then it might indicate a hardware problem, although it could still be related to the driver.

My last resort would be calling Alienware. It's unlikely you're the only one experiencing this problem. Sorry, man. Wish I had better suggestions for you.
