I wonder how far FV8 Studio beta has gone already ?
It has seemed to me that the final version of Generations that worked was in V7 only win.
How does the Generations development seem now on osx side?
Trying to build our workflows on Fusion but have a tons of questions still.

It does not currently. The license will work, of course, but you'd have to move the dongle to a Windows machine, so that's not a great option unless Blackmagic is willing to issue Generation dongles and Fusion dongles separately to some users for a fee or something.
I doubt Blackmagic will commit to making Generation for OSX, and even if they did, they wouldn't put a release date on it, and they certainly wouldn't hold up the release of the OSX version of Fusion Studio for it. So basically, Fusion Studio 8 for OSX will not have Generation. Fusion Studio 8.5 for OSX? Fusion Studio 9 for OSX? Resolve Studio 13.5 for OSX? Your guess is as good as mine.

In Beta 3 there is now Primatte again and it seems promising to me in that sense.
On the main site Generations are talked a lot and Linux version which probably is done after OSX version
needs it also.
My hopes are up

Would like to integrate all of this to my workflow with Resolve.

Played a bit with some different material today and i have to say i'm impressed with Primatte.
I only had free version Beta 3 but still worked good. As i'm no where near experienced with it
i got nice results in no time.
Just loaded up some material i had in a job about a year ago. Shot on original BMC 2,5 k. in raw DNG.
No special raw tab as with red yet but adjusting gamma and exposure did the trick.
Even without light wrap it worked rather nicely despite the noise from
the files (red and sharp details giving moire and noise) it was decent.
I bet 4.6k plates would give me better results.
If i could do the edit in Resolve and send it to fusion in some form shot by shot or
all the timeline and back would be wonderful.
Generations will sure help here.
Am i still to optimistic?
Did some test on another project also and got a lot better result compared to the ones
i have been given now.
Output to SDI is jus cherry on top to see my work on grade 1 monitor while working.
