Lens distortion data

PostMon Mar 21, 2016 12:13 pm

What's the best way to get lens distortion data from a grid shot and bring into fusion?
Nuke's auto grid detect is pretty fast way, any chance to bring that data from nuke to fusion?

i think the distortion model used in nuke isnt compatible to the modes fusion offers

but you could create UV/ST map in nuke or any other software you have for lens analysis and use this with the vector distortion. make sure you have 32 bit float data in your uv image

That's really the best way even if you could do it implicitly. It's faster in the same way that a LUT is fast.
