As near as I can tell, Fusion will not scale the output of a composition for monitoring purposes. I am running an UltraStudio 4K Extreme, which is hooked up via SDI to a Flanders monitor.
While I've set the Video Monitoring preference to 1080p to match the monitor, output is zoomed and centered with respect to the monitor when working on UHD or 4K material.
The only workaround I know of is to add a downstream node to rescale things (which I then have to remember to bypass when rendering.)
Would love a monitoring setting in preferences to handle this. Thanks.
