Fusion 8 Optical Flow

PostWed Apr 20, 2016 7:15 pm

I'm fairly new to Fusion 8 and was wondering what the workflow was for Optical Flow and Timespeed. I am trying to slow down footage shot at 23.976 FPS and cannot figure out how to smooth the motion out. The only help I've found online is adding an optical flow node to my footage, rendering that out as an Open EXR Sequence and putting that sequence back into Fusion and adding a Timespeed node. The footage comes out very choppy.

Can someone please help?

You don't need to render out the OpenEXR files.

Did you set the TimeSpeed's InterpolateBetweenFrames to Flow?

Yes I did. Are these nodes correct then if I do it like this?

Footage --->Optical Flow ---> TimeSpeed
