While new skin in F8 isn't too bad, it's not really good either. After finally getting over frustration of Node shelf not adapting neutral color scheme, even though it was reported at least dozens of times in beta, I've stumbled upon another annoyance. Despite using F8 quite often, I still stop and hesitate for a moment when I have to interact with New Folder or Up one Folder buttons, because those icons look nearly identical and pretty ridiculous on 1920x1200 24" display. And I can image it looks even worse on smaller screens, like FullHD laptops

Agreed. I noticed this right away. The only way I can tell between the two is to hover over one of them until the tool tip pops up.
